We encourage individuals to raise a minimum of $250 in donations and teams to raise a minimum of $5,000. The more you raise, the more life-changing experiences you give.

- Join our Kick-Off Meeting. Once you are registered and the Kick-Off meeting details are set, we will send you an email invitation. If you are interested in attending a meeting and you are not registered, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Customize your personal fundraising page by adding photos or a video telling your story.
Who Do I Ask?
Ask friends, family, coworkers, business associates, neighbors, your dentist, accountant, and the person who cuts your hair. Think about those who have asked you for support in the past. Don't be shy. Many of your contacts will be inspired by your commitment. Some will decide this is a terrific way to make a positive difference in their community, too.
Your Personal Page
Email your contacts and direct them to your personal page for a quick and easy way for people to donate. Use the sample messages provided. Ask your friends to forward your email to their contact list.
Tracking your progress is easy. Log into your personal page (or Team page) and use the tools available to keep current track of your donations. You also have the option to receiv an automatic email when a person makes a donation on your behalf.
Consider sending customized letters that tell your story. When you send your letter, be sure to include instructions for online donations or a donation form and a self-addressed, stamped envelope for receiving offline donations.
The Face-to-Face Request
There may be a few potential donors on your list who would be more receptive to a face-to-face request. Do you have a regular staff meeting at work during which you could make a short presentation?
Involve Your Donors
Keep them involved. Send an email or a handwritten note to everyone who has supported you.
